What is Team Coaching?

A high-performing team doesn’t happen by accident—it’s built through intentional collaboration, trust, and shared purpose. Team coaching helps your group move beyond surface-level cooperation to unlock its full potential. Together, we’ll address the dynamics, strengths, and obstacles within your team to enhance alignment, communication, and overall effectiveness. Whether your team is navigating change, struggling to meet ambitious goals, or seeking stronger cohesion, I’ll partner with you to create a thriving, resilient, and results-driven team.

How will we work together?

Duration

  • 3 to 6 months

1. Initial Discovery & Assessment
First, we'll conduct one-on-one interviews with all team members, including the team leader, to assess the team's current state, dynamics, and maturity. This will allow us to pinpoint the team's strengths and areas for improvement.

We'll then administer a comprehensive Team Diagnostic Survey, grounded in the 6 Team Conditions© framework, to further illuminate the key factors that drive team success.

  • Establishing the Essentials: Ensuring the team is real, has a clear and compelling purpose, and possesses the skills needed to achieve its goals.

  • Activating the Enablers: Creating a sound team structure, fostering a supportive context, and incorporating effective team coaching practices.

  • Measuring Effort and Strategies: Assessing how the team builds shared commitment, leverages task strategies, and applies its collective knowledge and skills.

2. Bi-Weekly or Monthly Team Coaching Sessions
Engage in 2-4 sessions, each lasting 60–90 minutes, to address key themes, strengthen alignment, and tackle obstacles as a group. The frequency and total number of sessions will be customized to meet the team’s immediate needs and objectives.

3. Individual Leadership Coaching
Provide 1:1 Leadership Coaching for team members to deepen self-awareness and ensure individual growth supports the team’s collective success. Frequency is tailored to the leader’s preferences.

4. Syncs with the Team Leader
Hold scheduled check-ins with the Team Leader to review progress, gather feedback, and make adjustments to the coaching plan as needed.

5. Team Meeting Observation
Observe a regular team meeting to evaluate how the team applies commitments and insights from coaching sessions to their day-to-day interactions.

6. Curated Resources
Share relevant articles, videos, and podcasts to reinforce learning and support continued development on topics emerging from Team Coaching or individual sessions.

7. Measure Progress
Track milestones and evaluate improvements in team dynamics, cohesion, and overall effectiveness, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
